As soon as you receive your order and identify that this has items missing or is damaged, please email info@petiteellieluxuries.com stating your order number and if possible attaching a photo of your invoice and/or damage. Yes they are. Non of our products are tested on animals in any stage of the supply chain. Our fragrance oils are vegan and cruelty free also.
  • What about your packaging?
We are making concious efforts to use as minimal plastic packaging as it is possible. Our wax melts are sold in glassine bags or biodegradable cellophane bags. The only plastic in our production line at the moment are our clamshells, but the packaging is classed as recyclable some are even made of rPET - 80% recycled material. We use bubblewrap in some of our fragile orders, however this buble wrap is also recyclable and used as a last resort to make sure your products are protected. We are actively researching other environmentaly friendly methods of delivering fragile items safely to you, please check the website periodically for any updates.
  • What wax do you use?
We use a blend of mineral and vegetable wax in our candles and mineral and soy wax in our melts. Mineral wax is well known for its superior scent throw and is easy to work with, producing some beautiful creations. Vegetable wax has its own qualities and blends make for nice and balanced answer for all sorts of ethical and environmental questions. Our wax is non toxic and it is natural. Wax blends such as this one are favoured by well known big brands for the luxury finish and superior scent throw. If you'd like more information including some studies into different wax types and their non toxicity despite common misconceptions, drop us a line and we will be happy to provide access to evidence supporting this.
